With 250 W motor assistance up to 25 km/h, pedilio is considered as a bicycle (pedelec). It can be ridden without license anywhere bicycles are allowed to move. You can comfortly do your daily trips and shopping.
The fully encolsed pedal chain drive to a 14 speed Rohloff gear hub drives the right rear wheel. This proven mechanical solutoin provides a sporty feeling. The driver gets direct feed back from the road and has lots of torque reserves for any incline.
the gearless hub motor intergated in the left rear Wheel acts as a powerful support for a speedy ride. the motor also offers reverse drive and electric regenerative braking to recover kinetic energy into the battery.
pedilio is ideal for exlporing the sneaky lanes in your town and also for extended tours and trips overland away from traffic.

pedilio 45 "speed"
Optionally, an individual registration of pedilio as a light motor vehicle can be obtained. Equipped with an insurance license plate, the vehicle may be driven from 16 years with a driver's license.
The motor support up to 1000W allows a sporty driving style up to 45 km/h. However, for an optimal balance between driving pleasure and battery range, an average cruising speed of 30 to 35 km/h is recommended.
Note: as a motor vehicle, the use of cycle paths is not permitted with this version. It also excludes the use of field and forest paths, tourist cycle paths and urban pedestrian areas.
Since you have to subordinate yourself with pedilio 45 to the motor vehicle traffic, from which we want to get away, a permission to 45 km/h not recommended with the current legal situation. It should also be considered that higher driving speeds greatly reduce the battery range in everyday use.
In our current small series production, we are therefore concentrating exclusively on the 25 km/h version of pedilio, which is way more popular.
